1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website zealottrips.com and all chauffeur-driven car rental services (“Services”) provided by Zealot Trips (OPC) Private Limited (“Zealot Trips”, “we”, “us”), 46/2, Netaji Subhas Road, Rishra, Hooghly, West Bengal 712248. By making a booking you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.
2. Bookings
- Bookings can be made by phone, WhatsApp, email or through the forms on our website.
- A booking is confirmed only after we send a written confirmation with the fare and you pay the required advance.
- You must provide accurate pickup and drop addresses, travel dates, passenger count and a reachable mobile number.
- The car category booked is guaranteed; the specific model may be substituted with an equivalent or higher model if required.
3. Fares & charges
- Fares displayed on the website are indicative starting prices. The fare in your written confirmation is final.
- One-way fares include fuel and driver allowance. Round-trip fares are charged per km on a minimum of 250 km per calendar day plus a daily driver allowance.
- Toll tax, parking, state entry tax and interstate permits are payable at actuals unless stated as included.
- A night allowance applies when the car is driven between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
- Distance and time beyond your package or quoted route are billed at the extra-km and extra-hour rates shared with your quote.
4. Payment
- An advance of 10–20% of the estimated fare is required to confirm most bookings. The balance is payable to the driver or online at the end of the trip.
- We accept UPI, debit/credit cards via payment link, NEFT/IMPS bank transfer and cash (balance only).
- Payments must be made only to accounts in the name of Zealot Trips (OPC) Private Limited, shared from our official number.
5. Cancellation & refunds
- More than 24 hours before pickup: full refund of the advance.
- Between 6 and 24 hours before pickup: 50% of the advance is refunded.
- Less than 6 hours before pickup, or no-show: the advance is non-refundable.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.
- If we cancel a confirmed booking for any reason, you receive a full refund or an alternative car at no extra cost.
6. Waiting time & delays
Free waiting time is 45 minutes at airports and 20 minutes at all other pickups. Further waiting is charged at the hourly rate shared with your quote. We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, strikes or other events beyond our reasonable control, but we will always do our best to keep you on schedule.
7. Passenger responsibilities
- The number of passengers must not exceed the seating capacity of the car.
- Smoking, consumption of alcohol or drugs, and carrying illegal or hazardous items in the car are not permitted.
- Passengers are responsible for any damage to the car caused by their misconduct.
- The driver may refuse or end a trip if passenger behaviour puts the driver, the car or other people at risk.
- Requests to drive above speed limits or violate traffic laws will be declined.
8. Luggage & belongings
Luggage should fit the car’s boot capacity. Passengers are responsible for their own belongings. Please check the car before leaving; we will make reasonable efforts to return any items left behind but cannot accept liability for loss.
9. Limitation of liability
All our cars carry valid commercial insurance. Beyond the cover provided by such insurance, our liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the fare paid for the affected trip. We are not liable for indirect losses such as missed flights, trains or appointments.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hooghly, West Bengal. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version published on this page at the time of booking applies.
